A lot of features that we are so much used to nowadays, had first been seen on the Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6, such as removable stocks, barrel extensions and piles of Nerf Tactical Rail attachments. It seems logical that this legend blaster did come back in the Nerf Modulus Series: the Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Modulus Recon MKII

The first thing to meet the eye is that the design of the blaster has received a huge upgrade. The Recon MKII now has a fancy hand guard and the grip was obviously sent to the Modulus-Stylist. Also two side mounted Nerf Rails have been added to hold all the attachments that come with the ECS-10 Blaster, Ion Fire or the Defend kit, Stealth Kit or the Range Kit from the Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Modulus universe. These changes gave the Recon MKII a solid Sci-Fi-Look

The Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Modulus Recon MKII is primed before every shot by pulling the top sled as we're used from the Recon CS-6. The Recon MKII is spring powered and does not require any batteries. Thanks to an edge at the border of the magazine slot the Recon MKII can only hold 6- and 12-dart magazines from Nerf. As the little edge has no funktion it can be grinded down to make way for all other magazines.
